We still have some unfinished business to attend to:
- This Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 7:00 we will be publically acknowledged by the Superintendent and School Committee for winning the DIII State Championship. All team members are required to attend this meeting. Please be at the Town Hall by 6:53pm, and please dress appropriately (wear something nice) as we will be on TV.
- We would like to have an end-of-year party. The DeCubellis’s have offered to host the party at their home and have invited all team members and their families. The date that looks most promising is Friday July 5, 2013. I realize with graduation parties, vacations and work this date may not work for everyone, but if we do not get something on the calendar the summer will be over and we will have missed the opportunity to get together one last time to celebrate this past season. Please keep that date in mind when planning your schedules. More information will follow.
- We will be ordering jackets to acknowledge our state championship victory. We cannot order these until all uniforms are accounted for. I am missing the following items:
White Jersey Numbers: 7,15,30,31,32 and 40
Red Jersey Numbers: 30,32 and 40
Kilt Numbers: 2,3,9,13,18,19,22,24 and 26
Please check your closets, bureaus, under your bed, laundry
baskets, car, mothers car, fathers car, brothers car, sisters car, friend’s
car, backyard, dog house, garage, gym bag, backpack, locker, etc. for these
items and return them to me ASAP! If you cannot find these items, you will be
charged $35 per jersey and $25 per kilt!
Lastly
–Some of you may know already, but I want to make sure everyone is aware I will
not be returning to coach next season. I want to thank everyone (athletes and
parents) for allowing me to be a part of their lives these past few years. It has been an honor and privlege working
with you all and I have enjoyed every second
of the experience! I will always cherish
the memories from my four years working with Coach Mark and the many athletes
that have participated in the program.
Each team
I have coached has been very special, but the 2013 NHS girls lacrosse will
always be extra special to me. I have
never worked with a more passionate, hard
working, dedicated and most of all - fun group of girls. I know you all will continue to do great
things – not just in lacrosse, but in everything you do. I wish you all the best and look forward to seeing
you around town and watching you play next season.
Play On!
