SENIOR DAY - Narragansett (15) vs Chariho (8)
The SENIOR Day Game against Chariho game was a nail biter for much of the first half.  With the exception of Ceili, the Senior class manned the entire field to start and finish the game.  The game was scoreless for nearly 6 minutes as the senior class held Chariho at bay.  Over the next 7 minutes, Chariho went on to score 4 unanswered goals and was settling in to a "kill-the-clock" mode.  The Narragansett defense ramped up the pressure causing a turnover which led to Peanut Butter and Fluff finally connecting for our first score of the game.  Twenty-four seconds later did it again.   Narragansett took the lead with 1 minute 33 seconds left in the half when Kara found the back of the net.  The 6-0 run led to a 6-5 halftime lead for Narragansett and from that point Narragansett never looked back.

After the game, we acknowledged the eight Chariho seniors, and the Narragansett underclassmen acknowledged their seniors.  Ice Cream was provided by the DeCubellis family for both teams to enjoy.  All-in-all it was a GREAT day!

This Week
We continue our second round of games with southern division teams with an away game against Pilgrim (directions) Wednesday, May 8, 2013.  The orientation of the game will be slightly different in that the JV game will be played first at 3:30 pm, followed by the Varsity game starting at 5:15 pm.  The Bus leaves NHS at 2:15 pm.

There is a good chance we will be playing North Kingstown in a Non-League game this coming Saturday May 11, 2013.  We are looking at a 2 pm start and will play both Varsity and JV games.  We will discuss in more detail tomorrow.

We have lots to work on Monday and Tuesday to prepare, so be ready to work at practice.  Indoor practice is from 7:30 - 9 pm if there is bad weather.
